5User content
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create on Blink (profile photo, bio, festival reviews). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store and distribute it within the Service. You confirm that you own or have the rights to all content you upload, that it does not break any law or infringe any third party's rights, and that you alone are responsible for it and its consequences.
Festival reviews
Reviews must be honest, based on real experience and written respectfully. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are spam, fake or promotional; offensive, defamatory or off-topic; or written by someone with a conflict of interest. Each user may submit one review per festival. Reviews are public.
Our right to moderate content
We reserve the right (but not the obligation) to review, edit or remove, without notice, any content that breaches these Terms.
6Social features
- Followers: you can follow other users to see their festival activity. Who you follow is public.
- Blocking: you can block users so they cannot see your profile or interact with you. Blocks are private.
- QR code: your profile's QR code is public and anyone with the app can scan it to follow you.
- Profile visibility: your festival attendance and reviews are visible to other users by default.
- Profile views: when you visit another user's profile, they may be sent a notification.
Do not use the social features to harass, stalk or intimidate other users. Repeated abusive behaviour leads to account termination.
Private messages (Signals)
Signals is the one-to-one private messaging feature. By using Signals you agree that:
- You can only message users with whom you follow each other.
- Messages are private between you and the recipient. Other users cannot read them.
- Messages are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Signals is NOT end-to-end encrypted: Blink staff can access message content only to respond to lawful requests from authorities, investigate abuse reports or preserve evidence of an imminent risk of harm.
- You alone are responsible for the content of the messages you send.
- You may NOT use Signals to send spam, harass, publish other people's personal details (doxing), spread hate speech or illegal material, impersonate anyone, share another person's data without their consent, or organise fraud or criminal activity.
- You can stop receiving messages from any user by ending the mutual follow or by blocking them.
- Reports of abusive messages are reviewed within 48 hours. We may suspend or terminate, without prior notice, accounts that break these rules.
- If you delete your account, the messages you sent and received are removed within 30 days and backups are cleared within 90 days.
7Disclaimer on festival information
Festival details (dates, lineups, ticket prices, venue information) are for information only. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the festival details shown in the app and we are not responsible for cancellations, postponements or changes by the organiser. We suggest you confirm details directly on the festival's official website. We are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on festival information shown in the app.
Buying tickets through Blink
For selected festivals you can buy tickets directly through Blink. When you complete a purchase:
- All purchases are final unless stated otherwise. We do not give refunds unless the law requires it or the organiser cancels the festival.
- Ticket prices are shown in euros (€) and include any service fees.
- After a successful payment you will receive a ticket with a QR code in the app and a confirmation email.
- Each QR code is unique and valid for one entry. Do not share your QR code before the event.
- You can transfer a ticket to another Blink user in the app before the date of the event.
- Once scanned at the entrance, the ticket cannot be used again.
- Blink acts as a ticket distributor on behalf of the festival organiser, who is solely responsible for organising, cancelling or postponing the event.
- We reserve the right to cancel a purchase and refund the full amount if we detect fraud, a duplicate purchase or a pricing error.
- To make a paid purchase you must be 18 or over or have a parent's consent.
Payment processing
Payments are processed by Viva Wallet, a licensed payment institution supervised by the Bank of Greece under the EU Payment Services Directive (PSD2). Blink does not store your full card number, expiry date or CVV. All card data is handled solely by Viva Wallet's PCI-DSS certified infrastructure. If there is a dispute about a payment, contact us at support@belinkedinnewkultures.gr with your order number.
Right of withdrawal: exception for event tickets
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Greek law (Law 2251/1994, Article 3θ(2)(ιβ)), the 14-day right of withdrawal does NOT apply to contracts for services related to leisure activities (such as festival or concert tickets) where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.
By completing a ticket purchase through Blink, you expressly acknowledge and accept that you waive the right of withdrawal for the tickets you bought; that tickets are non-refundable unless the organiser cancels the event, the law requires it or at the organiser's discretion; that you can transfer your ticket to another Blink user before the date of the event; and that the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services is not affected.
8Push notifications
By turning on push notifications, you agree to receive notifications such as lineup updates, ticket availability alerts, new follower alerts and Blinks. You can manage each notification category in Settings → Notifications or turn them all off in your device settings at any time.
9Shops and affiliate links
The Shops tab may contain links to third-party products and merchants. When you tap an affiliate link, we may earn a commission at no cost to you; any transaction is solely between you and the merchant; we are not responsible for product quality, delivery or any disputes; and product returns and refunds are governed by the merchant's policies. Affiliate partnerships are disclosed where the law requires it.
