Oliver Ressler
Oliver Ressler is an Austrian artist and filmmaker working on the intersections of politics, ecology, and resistance. His work A-Anti-Anticapitalista (2021) at Biennale 9 conveys the consensus in the climate justice movement that only systemic change can prevent climate disruption. With footage from Ende Gelände, Occupy, and anti-G7/G8/G20 mobilizations, the work points toward intersectional unity across anti-racist, decolonizing, and labor movements.
